                                Request for early taking of common test dec’09

   My daughter Li Huanmin, S10077531C of class 1C02 had to request to take her paper earlier as I intended to bring her to Malaysia to celebrate her Grandmother’s 97^th birthday.

Our extended family insists on celebrating her Grandmother’s birthday as she is in a ripe old age and we fear that in the future there might not be much opportunity to have such a full family gathering. As Huanmin is the favorite grandchild, I feel personally that it is obligatory that she takes a leave for this few days.

   I had already booked the air tickets as my niece, currently studying in TP is having their holidays on the 14^th December week and I thought all the polytechnics had the same period of holiday.

  My daughter fared very well for her 1^st semester examinations, scoring a GPA of 3.85 and now I’m afraid that this common test would pull her GPA down for year 1. She takes this common test very seriously, hence the request for advancement in common test.

If the concern is that the questions of the test might be circulated due to her taking the test in advance, you can have my utmost assurance that she will not indulge in sharing the information and question.

 Is there any way where she can take her test in advance so that she would not miss the gathering? We find the test very important but at the same time, we want to respect her grandmother’s wish.

I sincerely hope I get a reply which can help her with her test as well as make things easier for the travelling. Hope to hear from you soon.
